C.3.2 Function: dosing system for product packs

• The product pack is nonreturnable. The
pack consists of the cardboard box (1) with
the unit containing the concentrate bag (2)
including the dosing pump (3) inside.

• The dosing pump cannot be disassembled.
• The concentrate bag including the dosing
pump is an airtight system.
This fact along with the product pack being
inserted in the cooling compartment en-
sures that:

no bacteria from the air can enter the
concentrate.

F) is guaranteed for a
period of up to 3 weeks for coffee.
• The cooling compartment is equipped with
3 product packs. A dosing coil is situated
underneath the cooling compartment. The
dosing tube (4) including the dosing pump
reaches into the dosing coil. (Fig. 2)
• The dosing coil and the dosing pump
constitute a system that is clocked from the
control system modules B and C on the
basis of electric current. For each pulse on
the dosing coil, the dosing pump provides
the following quantities:
-
coffee 0.105 cc
- milk 0.09 cc
- cocoa-containing beverage 0.09 cc
concentrate volume as follows:
The tappet, which consists of the tappet
ring (7), ring support (6) and inlet valve (8),
is pulled downwards. The bellows (9) filled
with concentrate is compressed and dis-
charges the concentrate via the outlet valve
onto the trough. Immediately after the
pulse, the bellows returns to its original
shape, and then the concentrate continues
to flow via the opened inlet valve (8) into
the bellows. (Fig. 2)
