C.2.4 Disassembly of the mixing unit motors
• Disconnect the dispenser from the power
supply system and close the water tap.
• Open the right dispenser door and take out
the combined trough. (See chapter C.2.3.)
• Remove the drip tray, drip grid and splash
panel. (See chapter D.2.2)
• Remove the screw (2) on the mixing unit
support (3), unhook the mixing unit and take
it out towards the front. (Fig. 1)
• Undo the plug contacts (1) on the mixing
unit motor. (Fig. 1)
• Use a screwdriver to undo and remove the
impeller (4) from the axle. (Fig. 2)
The impeller is more elastic when
submerged in hot water first.
• Rotate the retaining ring (5) anticlockwise
until the stop and then remove it. (Fig. 2)
• Pull the mixing unit motor seal (6) including
the shaft seal (7) and support ring (8) off
the motor axle. (Fig. 3)
• Remove two screws (9) and take out the
mixing motor with the centrifugal disc. (Fig. 3)
• The reassembly procedure is carried out in
the reverse order of steps.
On assembly, note the following:
•
Fasten the mixing unit motor (10) to the
mixing unit support (3) with two screws (9).

• Insert the support ring (8) into the motor
seal (6) and then place both parts on the
mixing unit support (Fig. 3)
• Insert the shaft seal (7) into the motor seal.
(Fig. 3)
• Install the retaining ring and rotate until
tight.
Note the position.
• Make sure that the cable harness contacts
on the mixing unit motor are plugged in as
shown in Fig. 4.
• Check the motor seal including the shaft
seal and support ring for correct insertion.
