To  test  the  Peltier  cooling  units,  set  the  entry  for  the
temperature  control  to  MANUAL.  Select  the  corre-
sponding  entry  with  the  scroll  bar,  and  press  the
MANUAL  soft  key.

You  can  now  put  the  cooling  units  on  and  off.  To  do
so,  select  the  entry  in  the  Peltier  unit  line  and  press
the  ON  or  OFF  soft  key.

When  the  temperature  is  cooled  automatically,
the  Peltier  units  can  also  be  in  a  STANDBY
mode.  In  this  mode,  the  cooling  capacity  is
decreased.

The  current  cooling  temperature  is  indicated  in  the
following  line.  Depending  on  the  country-specific  set-
ting,  the  temperature  can  be  displayed  in

°

C or in

°

F.

Finally, the Peltier's current flow through the two
cooling units is displayed.

BUTTONS

Press the BUTTONS soft key in the test menu. The
buttons test menu is opened. (Fig. 34)

Here, you can test the correct functioning of the
delivery buttons.

Press  any  button  on  the  front  panel  of  the  Cafitesse
700  dispenser.  The  corresponding  button  is  highlighted
on  the  screen.  Also  test  the  service  switch  (on  the
bottom  side  of  the  user  interface  board)  and  the  on/off
switch  (on  the  inside  of  the  dispenser  door).  The
status  of  these  switches  is  also  indicated  on  the
screen.

TOUCH SCREEN

Press  the  TOUCH  SCRN  soft  key  in  the  test  menu.
The  touch  screen  test  menu  is  opened.  (Fig.  35)
This  menu  allows  you  to  test  the  correct  functioning  of
the  touch  screen.

Touch anywhere on the screen. A crosshair appears
indicating the touched point.

RFID

Press the RFID soft key in the test menu. The RF
identification test menu is opened.

In this menu, you can test the RFID antenna function-
ing.

Hold  a  tag  in  front  of  the  antenna  area,  and  press
START.  The  tag  type  is  indicated  on  the  screen.
Possible  values  are:  NO  TAG,  OPERATOR  TAG,
SERVICE  TAG,  and  DEVELOPMENT  TAG.
