Functions - water system

Flow rate controller

•

The flow rate controller is installed in the
inlet of the valve.

•

It reduces the flow rate of the incoming water
to approx. 10 l/min (2.6 gal/min).

•

This  ensures  that  the  boiler  overflow  can
cope  with  the  incoming  water  volume  in  case
the  water  inlet  regulator  fails.

•

The flow rate controller limits the flow rate
with an accuracy of

±

10%, independent of

the water mains pressure.

•

Whenever the dynamic pressure drops below
0.8 bar, a sufficient flow rate is no longer
guaranteed.

•

In  this  case,  the  water  level  in  the  boiler
cannot  be  controlled,  particularly  in  case  of
long  or  frequent  beverage  delivery.

•

Consequences:
-

deviations in the dosing quantities

-

possible blocking of delivery (see "Errors")

Filter sieve

•

A  removable  filter  sieve  (1)  in  the  valve  inlet
spout  (in  front  of  the  flow  rate  controller)
prevents  dirt  particles  from  entering.  (Fig.  4)

•

If  larger  quantities  of  dirt  particles  are  found
regularly  in  the  water  mains,  it  is  advisable  to
install  an  additional  filter  sieve  in  the  supply
line.  (Fig.  4)
