C.3.3 Function: mixing unit
• A mixing unit is required for the delivery of
specific beverages (e. g. espresso,
cappuccino, cocoa-containing beverages).
(Fig. 1)
• The impeller (1) of the mixing unit whisks
the water-concentrate mixture in the com-
bined trough. (Fig. 1)
• The mixing unit starts up the dosing of the
water-concentrate mixture delayed by a
specific period of time (mixer delay).
• The mixing unit remains switched on for a
specific period of time (mixer time).
• The mixer time and mixer delay can be
adjusted via the LCD display with touch
input. (See chapter 4)
• For cocoa-containing beverages and iced
choco, a fixed time for the mixer delay has
been specified by the software. The mixer
time can be adjusted via the touch screen.
• When delivering larger beverage volumes,
the mixing unit motor (2) remains switched
on for the preset or defined time. The
dosing rate, however, is adapted so that
the beverage in the combined trough does
not overflow. (Fig. 1)
• When employing more than one mixing
units at once, a second mixing unit motor
(2) can only be switched on after the
connecting current of the first mixing unit
motor has dropped below a specific value.
