C.3.4 Function: switchover of the product switch

• Two motors (1) for the auto diaphragm are
installed with a lever arm (2) in the motor
console. (Fig. 1)
• The combined trough is equipped with two
auto diaphragms and lever wire. A perma-
nent magnet is located on the lever wire.
• A sensor board (3) including two Hall
sensors is installed in the motor housing
component. The Hall sensors react to the
permanent magnets on the lever wires of
the auto diaphragms. (Fig. 1)
• As a result, the control system (modules B + C)
registers two different criteria for each trough
switchover operation: (Fig. 1)
1. Position of the auto diaphragm (motor
shutdown and determination of sense of
rotation)
2. Safety inquiry (VDE regulation) to check
if the combined trough is in correct
position.
• In principle, an initialization cycle is run
each time dispenser is switched on. If the
auto diaphragm does not reach position
within the required time (e.g. due to soil-
ing), the following functional sequence is
interrupted and an error message is indi-
cated in the LCD display. (See error codes)

The lever arm (2) leaves the original position.
A The lever arm moves into the slot of the
combined trough takes along the lever wire
(6) and the permanent magnet (5) along
and leaves the Hall sensor (7).
B The second Hall sensor (4) shuts down the
motor for the auto diaphragm. The lever
arm repositions itself beyond the lever wire
in order to repeat the procedure in case of
renewed activation.
C The auto diaphragm has been switched
over. The lever arm exits the combined
trough.
