5.

Lower bucket, dozer blade and outrigger to ground.

6.

Set parking brake switch to the "I" position. This will ensure
that the parking brake is "APPLIED".

7.

Shut down engine by turning key to "O" (OFF) position
(Figure 41).

8.

Remove key from starter switch.

9.

If the machine is parked on a slope, insert the wheel
chocks on the downhill side of the wheels to secure the
machine. (See Figure 34 on page 3-19.) wheel chocks are
supplied with the machine. There are stored on the lower
frame directly below the cab. When the upper structure is
facing the front of the machine.
