Data Communication

This section describes un-installation
instructions for FOMA PC setting software.

“FOMA N900iG” is not recognized by the PC.

• See if your PC satisfies the operational environment

required.

→

pp.462 and 468

• See if the N900iG communication setting file has

been installed.

• See if the FOMA terminal is connected to the PC and

the power is turned on.

• See if the FOMA USB cable is firmly connected.
• Check if the USB mode setting (p.393) is set to

“Communication mode”.

Unable to connect with the access point.

• See if the settings for the ID (user name) and

password are correct.

• See if the FOMA USB cable is firmly connected.
• If the access point requires the Caller ID, make sure

that “184” is not added to the phone number.

• See if the box of “

フロー制御を使う

(Use the flow

control)” of the modem property is checked.

• See if the APN is set correctly.
• If you still cannot connect to the other end after

checking the above, consult with the Internet service
provider or network administrator about the setting
method.

Uninstalling the FOMA PC

setting software

（1）

To not reside the “W-TCP settings” in the
task tray.

Right-click the “W-TCP icon” in the task tray
located at the lower right corner of the
desktop and select “
