Security Settings
Using Safety options
Safety options
You can restrict use of the functions your child uses, and
set the Safety alarm and Omamorimokon.

Safety options provide 3 menu screens. Use

switch the screens for settings.
Functions that are available with Safety options are as
below :
Kids' mode setting
Setting Kids' mode
In Kids' mode, you can use the kid's security code
(password → P106) in addition to the parent's security
code (terminal security code
→
P106). In addition to the
previous Security code restriction, functions concerned
with security control are newly restricted. And, since the
functions that are necessary for a child and that require
privacy protection can be used with the security code for
a child, you can let your child have this terminal at ease.
When your child uses this FOMA terminal, it is
recommended you let your child use this terminal setting
Kids' mode to "ON".

Public mode (Drive mode) is not available in Kids'
mode.

When enabling Kids' mode, set PIN code ON/OFF to
"OFF".

When set, appears on the stand-by display.

Public mode (Drive mode), Privacy mode and Self
mode become unavailable. If Kids' mode is set to
"OFF", Public mode (Drive mode) and Privacy
mode return to the settings that were used before
Kids' mode was set to "ON".

If Request permit/deny is set to "Always deny"
when setting Kids' mode to "ON", the "Always
permit" setting screen appears.
Password
Changing password (for kids)
Change the required password in Kids' mode.

The password you want to change must not be the
same as the terminal security code.
