Vibrate alert/effect
Using vibrator to signal incoming
calls and alarms

The operation of Vibrator for receiving 64K data
communication depends on the setting for receiving
voice call.
･
This setting is reflected to settings for Vibrate alert or
Vibrate effect in Call alert, Videophone alert, Mail alert,
Chat mail alert, MessageR alert, MessageF alert,
Positioning alert and i- D ppli settings.
･
If the FOMA terminal is on the desk, etc. when the
vibrator operates, it may fall off because of the
vibration.

Vibrator is set and FOMA terminal vibrates on the
incoming call/message and alarm notification.

When you place the cursor on "Pattern A",
"Pattern B" or "Pattern C", vibration occurs in the
pattern at the cursor position.

When "Sync melody" is set, the vibrator operates
along with the melody set for ring alert, etc. Some
melodies may not be synchronized.

When setting the vibrator for i- D ppli, select "ON"
or "OFF".
･
If the vibrator for incoming calls is set to other
than "OFF", appears on the stand-by display if
the Call alert volume is "Level 1" or higher.

Vibrator does not operate when another call is received
during a call.

Even with "OFF", vibration may occur along with Flash

You can change the sound to be emitted when a key is
pressed (except

folded. Emission of the sound can also be inhibited.

Keypad sound and terminal open/close sounds are
different from each other depending on the type of set
sound.

A change in Operation sound is reflected to the
confirmation sound heard when displaying the battery
level (same as Keypad sound).

If the emission of the sound is inhibited, the sounds
below are also inhibited :
- Confirmation sound when displaying the battery level
- End alert of data transmission/reception
