"Transmission completed" appears on the calling
screen and you are charged for message
transmission.
If the Chaku-moji message is not received by the
other party due to incompatibility or Message
display settings or because he or she stays overseas,
message "Transmission failed" appears on the
calling screen and you are not charged for message
transmission.

INFORMATION

Chaku-moji cannot be sent and it is not recorded in
Received calls when the receiver side is in one of the states
below. The transmission result does not appear on the
sender side with no transmission fee charged.
- When the receiver is out of service area or the terminal power is OFF
- If Greeting msg resp time is "0 Sec."
- Public mode (Drive mode) ON, etc.

When operating from Redial or Received calls, press

and select "Chaku-moji".

When operating from Recorded messages, Voice memos
or Members list of scheduler, press

and select "Call
option".

When operating from Phonebook list of FOMA terminal or
UIM, press

and select "Mail/Call option" → "Call
option"; when operating from a phone number detail
screen, press

and select "Chaku-moji/MultiNo" →
"Chaku-moji".

When the other party is set Ring alert delay, Chaku-moji is
sent even in Delay time and the transmission is charged.

Depending on the signal quality, the transmission result
may not appear on the sender's terminal even when Chaku-
moji arrives at the other party's terminal. In this case, you
are charged for message transmission.

In case of international call, caller ID may not be notified
depending on connecting phone companies even when
"186" is prefixed.

When making a call by dialing the phone number prefixed
with "186" or "184", the phone number prefixed with that
number is recorded in the redial list.
Sending tone signal (DTMF)
Tone signals (DTMF) can be sent from FOMA terminal to
operate the Voice Mail Service or use various push-
button phone services at your home. By entering pause
("P") or timed pause ("T") when making a voice call, tone
signals (DTMF) can be sent with digits in the phone
number separated.

Pause and timed pause are enabled only for voice calls.

Use for operating the answering system at home,
reserving tickets, etc. Tone signals are sent with the
phone number separated at the point where pause ("P") is
entered.

Entering timed pause "T"
Timed pause ("T") is used to dial outside line number
followed by an extension. When timed pause ("T") is
entered between the phone and extension numbers, the
extension number is dialed with a pause of the
predetermined seconds after the phone number is dialed.
