Phonebook new entry
Adding entries into FOMA
terminal phonebook
You can add phone numbers and mail addresses to the
FOMA terminal phonebook.

Note that, when changing the models at a sales outlet
such as DOCOMO shop, data saved in FOMA terminal
may not be copied to a new model terminal due to its
specifications.

Up to 16 two-byte (32 one-byte) characters can be
entered.

Set the required items

Phonebook number (No.000-999) : The lowest
available phonebook number is assigned.

When a phonebook number that has already
been used is specified, overwriting
confirmation screen appears when saving.
When not overwriting, select "New entry" and
specify another phonebook number.
･
Zeroes before single- or double-digit
phonebook numbers can be omitted.
Reading : Reading of the entered name is entered.
･
Up to 32 one-byte characters can be entered.
･
Even if you correct the name, the reading does
not reflect the change.
Select/Shoot image : Set an image or movie/i-
motion that is displayed when receiving/making a
call or checking the phonebook data. This item is
displayed when the saved person calls with the
caller ID.

Location info : Add location information
according to the current location and/or location

characters can be entered.
Class name: Up to 50 two-byte (100 one-byte)
characters can be entered.
URL : Up to 256 one-byte characters can be
entered.
