Receive Ir data
Receiving by infrared
communication
You can receive data individually, or collectively by data
types.

The data below can be received :
･
Images, movies/i-motion or melodies, if any, received
from terminals except FOMA F series may be saved as
notes.
◆ Receiving single data item
･
You cannot receive data larger than 512 Kbytes.

Confirm & save : Received data is temporarily saved
in INBOX. INBOX appears upon reception
completion.
The next procedure → P243 "Saving received data"
Save : Received data is saved in the location
specified for data types.
◆ Receiving all data items
Data is received collectively by data types.

Enter the same authentication password on the
sending and receiving sides. Decide a 4-digit
authentication password in advance.
･
Images, movies/i-motion, or melodies are not
applicable to Receive all.

Confirm & save : Received data is temporarily saved
in INBOX.
Overwrite : Received data is overwritten in the
FOMA terminal. If selected, deleting confirmation
screen appears. Select "Yes" and perform
authentication operation, and then go to Step 2.

Overwriting deletes all existing data in FOMA terminal
and writes new data.

INFORMATION
･
FOMA terminal cannot save data of ToDo (List function for
managing entries). When all items of ToDo and schedule
data are received, only the schedule data is saved. Be
careful that when only entire ToDo data is received with
"Overwrite", all the schedules registered in the FOMA
terminal are deleted.
･
Receiving time differs depending on the type or number of
received data items. If you receive large size data or a lot of
data items, receiving may take a long time.

If you perform Receive all and overwrite,

is not used even when all mail messages
