Security Settings
･
While the Safety alarm is ON, a call or data communication
is received as below :
- When "Alarm+Voice call" is set and an emergency call comes in,
receiving call is continued and only an incoming voice call is
automatically answered. However, if a voice call to an emergency
number is migrated from dialing status to calling or talking status,
receiving call is disconnected.
- When "Alarm+Voice call" is set and a call from other than
emergency number comes in, receiving call is disconnected.
- If "Alarm only" is set, receiving call is continued (but not
automatically answered).
- Incoming data communication is rejected.

Safety alarm continues to sound even when talking has
been enabled during its operation. You can talk, but you
need to return the buzzer switch as required.

When multiple emergency numbers are saved, an outgoing
call is interrupted unless the receiver answers
approximately 30 seconds after calling, and a voice call is
made to the next emergency number in the order of the
saved numbers.

If no answer is returned from any emergency numbers after
a voice call has been made to all emergency numbers,
FOMA terminal makes a voice call after standing by for
approximately 1 minute. When Location request is sent,
calling is placed into the stand-by state until positioning
starts.

When the emergency receiver sets the on-hold or recorded
messages mode, it is assumed that the receiver has
answered, and an announcement is played. When Call
Rejection, Public mode (Drive mode), Voice Mail Service or
Call Forwarding Service is in use, a call is made to the next
emergency number, assuming that the receiver has not
answered, except in certain cases.

If Call waiting is used, the operations below are performed :
- You can answer an incoming voice call during talking. While
"Alarm+Voice call" is set, FOMA terminal answers only a voice call
from the saved emergency numbers and records the others as missed
calls.
- A call received while an announcement is being played is recorded
as a missed call.

When a voice call related to the safety alarm is made, an
announcement is played to the other party whenever
talking is set.
･
Talking cannot be recorded in voice memo while the Safety
alarm is ON.
･
While the Safety alarm is ON, software update does not
start at the reserved date/time.
･
Location request can be sent, but not be executed in some
cases.
･
When the battery is low, buzzer sounding is continued, but
making voice call or Location request is ended.
･
When not using FOMA terminal for a long time, operate it
regularly and check that it runs properly.
･
The safety alarm is for turning peripheral attention to you,
and not for crime prevention or assuring safety. Please be
notified that DOCOMO assumes no responsibility for any
damage caused by use of this function.

Set Request permit/deny to "Always permit" in advance
( → P217). Also set your terminal as an imadoco-search
target. For imadoco-search, see DOCOMO website etc.

positioning may fail even with the vibrator activated.

Silent alarm is not available in the cases below :
- In Omakase Lock
- When the PIN code is locked or PIN lock is in operation completely
- When safety alarm is ON
- When UIM is not installed

In Self mode, Self mode is canceled and the Silent alarm is
activated.
･
If power is OFF with PIN code ON/OFF set to "ON", the Silent
alarm is activated after PIN code is input.
