Setting receiving actions for each
phonebook entry
Operations such as ring alert and light alert of voice calls,
videophone calls or mail can be set for each phonebook
entry saved in the FOMA terminal phonebook.

When a phonebook entry is saved with " グループ
なし (No group)", all the items are set to "Terminal
setting". If Group is selected, Substitute image is
set to "Terminal setting" and other items to
"Group setting".
/ Ring alert : When "Movie ringtone" or
"Melody" is selected, select ring alert.
･
Only movies/i-motion with Ring alert of the
detail information specified to "Available" can
be set as ring alert.
･
When set to "Terminal setting", the operation
depends on Call ring alert, V.phone ring alert or
Mail ring alert.
/ Vibrate alert : Set the vibrator.
･
When set to "Terminal setting", the operation
depends on Vibrate alert/effect.
/ Light alert : Set the lighting pattern of the
light.
･
When set to "Terminal setting", the operation
depends on Light alert.
･
When "Sync melody" is set, Light color
operates in "Rainbow".
/ Light color : Set the lighting color of the light.
･
When set to "Terminal setting", the operation
depends on Light alert.
Substitute image (The phone alert settings
screen only) : Select a Chara-den displayed during
a call.

When set to "Terminal setting", the operation
depends on Image setting/Videophone image.

Up to 10 two-byte (21 one-byte) characters can be
entered. Up to 10 characters can be entered when
one- and two-byte characters are both used or
one-byte katakana is included.

Set the required items

Reading : Reading of the entered name is entered.

Up to 12 two-byte (25 one-byte) characters can
be entered. Up to 12 characters can be entered
when both one- and two-byte characters are
used.

Even if you correct the name, the reading does
not reflect the correction.
Group : " グループなし (No group)" is set by
default.
Phone number : Up to 26 digits can be entered. →

Only one phone number can be saved. No icon
can be set.

Pause ("P"), "+", "#" and sub-address delimiter ("

") can be entered. Timed pause ("T") can be
