◆ Setting display style of mail list
<Message list>
MENU 1975
The display style of the list of mails in Inbox and Outbox
can be set to 1-row display or 2-row display.
･
When setting to Display 1 row, a sender of the mail at
the cursor position is displayed for the Inbox, or a
receiver (the first entry) of the mail at the cursor
position for the Outbox is displayed at the bottom of
screen.
･
The list display style of Unsent messages and SMS in
UIM is displayed in 2 rows regardless of this setting.

Setting if you receive attachments

You can set in advance if you receive files attached to i-
mode mail depending on file types.

Files set not to receive automatically are received as
receive option attachment files.

is displayed, you can set whether the melody is
automatically played.

INFORMATION

When a received mail, sent mail, mail template or
MessageR/F with an attached melody is displayed with
"Auto play" set, the attached melody is played once with
the volume set in Melody effect sound of Adjust volume.
When multiple melodies are attached, the melodies are
played sequentially. Press
c
to stop playing the melody
halfway.
･
When MessageR/F is automatically displayed, the melody
is not automatically played even with "Auto play" set.

Selecting type of mail to display <By
display type>
You can display only the mails of specified type in the
received and sent mail lists temporarily. When the list
display is closed, sorting is restored to "Display all items".

You cannot select the display type for Unsent
messages and SMS in UIM.

Mails of the selected display type are displayed.

For Inbox, you can also select "Read item only"
and "Protected item only".

For "Read item only", protected received mails are
not displayed.
◆ Changing mail font size <Font size>
You can change the font size to display mails from among
3 types of "Large" (24 dots), "Medium (standard)" (20 dots)
and "Small" (16 dots).
･
"Medium (standard)" is set by default.
･
You cannot change the font size for Deco-mail
pictogram (Pictogram D) when creating or editing a
mail.
