GENERAL 
 
The following paragraphs identify the theory of operation for the Medium SXGA+ Projection System.  Designed for 
24/7 operation, the DC2E Medium SXGA+ Projection System is built for today’s commander.  This system consists of 
video components designed to support various operations and a wide range of signal compatibility. 
 
Designed to fit into a medium Deployable Rapid Assembly Shelter (DRASH), the Medium SXGA+ Projection System 
features a DLP projector that accepts and displays images with a high resolution of up to 1920 x 1200.  Multiple 
screens can connect together to form a single, large screen.  Its unique design of a cantilevered projector mounting 
arm preserves valuable floor space.  Viewing area measures 48” x 60” x 73” diagonal. 
 
Despite its numerous capabilities, the Medium SXGA+ projection System is compactly stored in two separate wheeled 
cases for easy transport

FEATURES:

Native resolution 1400 x 1050 (SXGA+). System accepts and displays images with a resolution of to 1920 x 
1200.  

•

 

Viewing area measures 48” x 60” x 73” diagonal.  

•

 

Designed for 24/7 operation.  To ensure continuous operation, a maintenance kit is available for the projector 
that replaces all moving internal components within 7500 hours of system operation.  Contact DHS System 
for additional information pertaining to the maintenance kit.  

•

 

Projectors weigh only 9 lbs (4 kg) and have a low noise level of 28 dB (A).  

•

 

2000/2500 hour lamp life, multi-voltage 3100 ANSI lumens.  

•

 

Lightweight 1” square tube aluminum frame system with locking hinge points for fast set up and take down.  
Includes adjustable rubber feet for uneven terrain. 

•

 

Includes long life mechanical elements, such as magnesium and ceramics, as well as over specified fans and 
color wheel engine.  

•

 

Fully sealed optical architecture ensures faultless operation in harsh environments.  

•

 

Cantilevered projector mounting arm preserves valuable floor space. 

•

 

Integrated mounting points for shelter loudspeakers allow for high quality audio. 

•

 

Multiple projection screens connect together to form a single screen.
