OPERATOR MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
MEDIUM SXGA+ PROJECTION SYSTEM
EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES
GENERAL
This work package provides information needed by the Operator when performing the following services to the
Medium SXGA+ Projection System. They consist of:

Cleaning the Medium SXGA+ Projection System

Cleaning the Cables

Cleaning the Projector

Cleaning the Screen

Replacing Projector Lamp
WARNING
Voltage sources, in addition to being an electrical shock hazard, may also potentially produce
serious burns. Care should be exercised when using water around exposed power connections.
Ensure that all power to the system has been shut off before disassembling and cleaning the
components of the Medium SXGA+ Projection System.
CAUTION
Use of a damp cloth is authorized for cleaning the case and cables but care should be exercised
to ensure that water does not get into the connection of the cables or the electrical components.
Damage to the components may result from water, if water gets into the connections, blow the
connections out with compressed air, or allow to air dry before connecting back to equipment.
CAUTION
The projector contains moving parts that have limited life-expectancies. After 7500 hours, or in a
mission critical application, it is recommended that the projector be given preventive maintenance
by specially trained maintenance personnel in order to help ensure long term stable operation.
