PROJECTOR LAMP REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT

WARNING
BE CAREFUL NOT TO TOUCH THE LAMP GLASS WHEN REPLACING THE LAMP MODULE,
THIS MAY CAUSE THE GLASS TO OVERHEAT AND BREAK WHILE IN USE.
WARNING
BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL WHEN REMOVING THE LAMP MODULE. IN THE UNLIKELY
EVENT THAT THE BULB RUPTURES, SMALL GLASS FRAGMENTS MAY COME LOOSE.
NOTE
The projector bulb has an approximate life span or 2000/2500 hours and must be changed to
prevent the bulb from exploding and causing damage to the projector or personnel.

The indicator light on the projector will turn red when lamp life expires.
o
Always replace lamp with the same type and rating.
o
Always disconnect the power cord and wait until the projector has cooled down
(approximately 60 minutes) before opening the lamp cover.
REMOVAL
1. Verify that the Projector has been shut down and the power cord has been disconnected. Allow lamp to
cool for 60 minutes.
2. Lay the projector vent side up on a clean flat surface.
3. Using a flat tipped screwdriver remove cover screw (Figure 1, Item 1). Remove cover (Figure 1, Item 2)
to expose the projector lamp module.
4. Using a flat tipped screwdriver, unscrew three screws (Figure 1, Item 3) securing lamp module in place.
5. Lift handle on the lamp module (Figure 1, Item 4) and carefully remove old lamp from projector.
