Deactivation of alarm limits
In some situations it is reasonable to have no active alarm limits because the parameters do not
represent the real physiological state of the patient.
The following table gives an overview what alarm limits are deactivated in which situation:
Suituation
Duration
Parameters
NBP Measurement
during NBP measurement
Sys, Dia, MAP, Puls
Venous stasis
during venous stasis
Sys, Dia, MAP, Puls
Start of Measurement until calibration to NBP or external BP value was
finished
Sys, Dia, MAP
The alarm limits are deactivated only for the continuous CNAP
®
measurement. Alarm limits for the
NBP measurement will not be changed in any case.
If alarms are deactivated for a longer period because of missing calibration information (NBP Mode:
“External”) a reminder signal will be generated automatically every 60 minutes.
The reminder signal can be activated or deactivated in the menu
