Pay-per-use measurement 

The  CNAP  Monitor  supports  the  activation  of  a  limited  number  of  measurements  –  with  a  license 
key  –  for  blood  pressure,  PPV  and  HD  measurements  (see  chapter  4.4).  Users  can  operate  the 
CNAP

®

 Monitor with a pay-per-use business model. 

 
When a measurement is stopped the count of available measurements is decremented – depending 
on the used measurement mode (BP, PPV or HD). 
 
Behaviour of pay-per-use measurements:

For one measurement only one parameter counter is decremented:

Blood pressure only: 

BP

 

o

 

Measurement of blood pressure and PPV: 

BP + PPV

 

o

 

Measurement of blood pressure an all hemodynamic parameters: 

BP + HD

 

•

 

A  measurement  counter  is  decremented  if  the  parameter  is  displayed  for  more  than  five 

minutes. 

•

 

At the end of a measurement the CNAP Monitor shows what measurement counter was de-

cremented – a receipt can be printed on user request.
