The CNAP

®

 Monitor 500 is switched on by pressing the 

Power On/Off

 

key located on the front 

side  of  the  device  for  two  seconds.  While  the  CNAP

®

  Monitor  500  is  booting  up,  device  and  soft-

ware  information  is  displayed  on  the  splash  screen.  The  green  power  LED  indicates  the  operation 
status  of  the  device.  The  operating  system  of  the  monitor  initializes  and  performs  a  system  self-
test, and then the main screen is displayed.  
In  addition,  the  monitor  also  performs  an  automatic  function  test  of  its  alarm  system  during  the 
boot-up period (see chapter 6 – Alarm system).
