Verifying the Configuration
To verify and display the configuration of Layer 2 VLAN transport over MPLS tunnels, perform the
following:
•
To display a single line for each VLAN, naming the VLAN, status, and ports, enter the
show vlan
brief
command.
Router#
show vlan brief
VLAN Name Status Ports
---- -------------------------------- --------- -------------------------------
1 default active
2 VLAN0002 active Gi1/4
1002 fddi-default act/unsup
1003 token-ring-default act/unsup
1004 fddinet-default act/unsup
1005 trnet-default act/unsup
•
To make sure the PE router endpoints have discovered each other, enter the
show mpls ldp
discovery
command. When an PE router receives an LDP Hello message from another PE router, it
considers that router and the specified label space to be “discovered.”
