CLI Command List
Set DS0 ISDN BRI CRV
Purpose:
This command does three things. First, it assigns a drop DS0 to an ISDN BRI channel.
Second, it defines the DS0 to be a type B1, B2, or D channel. And third, it assigns CRVs
for the GR-303 switch and Access Navigator to use in setting up ISDN BRI calls.
This command allows the B1 and B2 channels to be assigned one at a time. Because
the 4:1 TDM mode transports the D channel signaling for four BRIs over one DS0, the
D channel assignment command requires the operator to enter all four CRVs separated
by commas, as shown in the following example. The
set ds0 isdn none
command
is used to remove an ISDN assignment from a DS0.
NOTE:
This command only applies to ISDN BRI channels transported in the
GR-303 4:1 TDM mode.
NOTE:
The GR-303 switch identifies BRI circuits by their CRVs, which must
be provisioned the same in the Access Navigator, Adit 600, and central office
switch. Because the 4:1 TDM mode assigns four CRVs to each D channel, it is
recommended that BRI circuits be provisioned in groups of four, even if some
of the BRIs are not immediately needed.

Field Description
n DS1 number, 1 to 32.
ch DS0 number, 1 to 24, or a range of numbers such as 5-8.
b1 Bearer channel B1
b2 Bearer channel B2
d Signaling channel D
range Call Reference Value, 1 to 768. B1 and B2 channel CRVs are set
one at a time. D channel CRVs must be assigned four at a time,
either as a range using a hyphen such as 1-4 or as individual
numbers separated by commas such as 1,2,8,9. In order to assign
fewer than four D channel CRVs, a zero is used as a place holder
as in 1,2,0,9.
