U s ing an Eye-Fi card:
• Thi s product i s not guaranteed to s upport Eye-Fi card function s (includ-
ing wirele ss tran s fer). In ca s e of an i ss ue with an Eye-Fi card, plea s e
check with the card manufacturer. Al s o note that an approval i s required
to u s e Eye-Fi card s in many countrie s or region s . Without approval, u s e
of the card i s not permitted. If it i s unclear whether the card ha s been
approved for u s e in the area, plea s e check with the card manufacturer.
• Do not u s e Eye-Fi card s on airplane s and in other place s where wirele ss
communication i s forbidden. Remove the Eye-Fi card from the cam-
corder beforehand.
NOTES
• Depending on the amount of data to be tran s ferred or wirele ss s ignal
condition s , uploading may take a long time. In addition, if wirele ss s ignal
condition s wor s en, uploading may be interrupted.
• Wirele ss tran s fer will decrea s e the effective u s age time of the battery
pack. You can power the camcorder u s ing the compact power adapter
s o the battery pack will not be con s umed.
• While file s are being uploaded, the camcorder ’s automatic power off
function will be di s abled.
• If the LOCK s witch on the Eye-Fi card i s s et to prevent writing, you can-
not change the [Eye-Fi Communication] s etting. In s uch ca s e, the
icon will appear on the s creen. Change the po s ition of the LOCK s witch
to change the s etting.
• The ACCESS indicator may fla s h periodically while the Eye-Fi card i s in
u s e.
* Thi s menu option will appear only when u s ing an Eye-Fi card.
