Capacity Planning Window
The Capacity Planning window (see Figure 141 ) displays the data
gathered from the selected CLARA application.

Field Description
Racks The number of racks in the system. Click in the
Racks column to edit the number of racks. Enter the
exact number of racks in the system so the
configuration process can verify the capacity.
Options:
• 1 - 3
• 1 - 6
• 1 - 9
• 1 - 12
Instrument
Name The Twister II storage instrument’s resource name in
CLARA. Non-editable.
Maximum
Capacity A user-defined number that represents the maximum
capacity of one rack, for the Material Type listed.
Click in the
Maximum Capacity column to edit the
value. You must edit or verify the default value
that is provided. (For information on determining
the maximum capacity of a rack, see “Setting up a
Storage Configuration” on page 29 .)
Lids : When using plates with lids, count the number
of plates plus the number of lids. The total stack of
materials MUST be below the top of the rack.
For Example: MaterialA, MaterialAwithlids . The lid
must be the same material type as the material.
