robot and provides a solution to the problem. This section also
includes performance checks to verify that the robot is operating

Issue 1
The Twister II does not turn on properly when switched on, or does not
initialize.
Possible Cause
Solution
Power cord not firmly attached
Verify power cord is securely seated in
receptacle.

Communication cable not firmly

Verify communication cable is inserted
properly and seated securely in receptacle.
Issue 2
The Twister II arm crashes.
Possible Cause
Solution
The Twister II lost the proper
orientation due to contact with an
object in the arm’s path
Disable the servo motors using the Twister II
Robot software. Manually move the robot to
the proper position. Re-enable the servo
motors. Run a check on the robot positions.
Robot positions not correct
In the Twister II Robot software, re-teach the
instrument or storage positions.
Plates were added or removed
during the run
Do not add or remove plates from the input or
output racks during operation.
Issue 3
The Twister II does not properly place materials into an instrument or the
storage racks.
