Contacts
Vehicle equipment
This chapter describes all standard, national
and special equipment provided in the model
series. Equipment not available in the vehicle is
therefore also described, for example the se‐
lected special equipment or national version.
This also applies to safety-relevant functions
and systems. Comply with the relevant na‐
tional regulations when using the correspond‐
ing functions and systems.
General
Contacts can be created and edited. The con‐
tacts from the mobile telephone are also
shown. Addresses can be used as navigation
destinations and the phone numbers dialled di‐
rectly.
Operating requirements
This description of the contacts applies to
equipment with hands-free system with USB
interface or without a mobile telephone provi‐
sion.
New contact
Creating a new contact
On the Control Display:
1. "Contacts"
2. "New contact"
3. Input boxes still show previous input:
"Clear fields".
4. To complete the input fields: select the
symbol beside the input field.
5. Enter text.
6. If equipped with navigation system: Enter
address. Only addresses that are present
in the vehicle's navigation data can be en‐
tered. This ensures that route guidance is
possible for all addresses.
7. If applicable, "Save"
8. "Save contact in vehicle"
