Basic principles

Connect button

Press the button. Select the displayed
or highlighted phone number, accept

the call.

On/off/exit button

Press and hold down button: switch‐
ing on and off.

Press button briefly: ends a call.

Note regarding switching on/off

If the handset is switched off and on again
while the vehicle is in motion, the Bluetooth

connection in the Control Display must be re-
saved.

Functional requirement for readiness

The SIM card is inserted into the snap-in
adapter or a mobile telephone is connec‐
ted via the SIM Access Profile.

The handset is switched on.

The PIN for the SIM card has been entered
or the PIN query, see page
