"Transfer logbook"
Saving a trip book
To save trips, a suitable device must be con‐
nected to the USB interface in the centre arm‐
rest.
1. Connect USB medium to the USB inter‐
face in the centre armrest, see page
53 .
2. Calling up"Options".
3. "Save logbook (USB)"
The trip data is encoded and saved onto the
medium and can be transmitted to the Con‐
nectedDrive Portal by PC.
Settings
▷ "Pop-up (start of journey)"
The trip last used is shown on the Control
Display when the ignition is switched on.
The pop-up can be ended manually at any
time.
Continue the new trip with this trip data or
change the trip data.
▷ "Auto break recognition"
The current trip continues to be recorded
during interruptions to the trip for a user-
defined period. As standard, a value of 10
minutes is set.
Resetting a trip book
Deletes all trips and trip data saved in the vehi‐
cle. Trips already transferred to the Connec‐
tedDrive Portal remain.

2. "Delete all data"
Deactivating a trip book
If the trip book is deactivated, all the stored
trips are transferred to the BMW Connected‐
Drive Portal and all trip data is deleted from the
vehicle.
The current trip is ended.
On the Control Display:
1. "Deactivate logbook"
2. "OK"
If you want to use the trip book again, this must
be reactivated activate trip book, see
page
120 .
Apps
Overview
Certain apps of a suitable mobile telephone
can be integrated into the vehicle. These apps
are displayed on the Control Display.
Requirements
▷ Suitable mobile telephone.
▷ Apps are installed and operational on the
mobile telephone.
▷ Corresponding mobile radio contract.
Any additional costs incurred are not the
component of apps.
▷ Only use apps approved by BMW, other‐
wise there may be malfunctions.
Information about suitable mobile telephones
is available at www.bmw.com/Bluetooth, infor‐
mation about available software applications
and their installation is available at
www.bmw.com/connectivity, or contact your
Service Centre.
Input data
Only make inputs when traffic activity
permits. The vehicle occupants and other road
users could otherwise be at risk due to lack of
concentration.
Some apps can only be used when the vehicle
is stationary for safety reasons.◀
Operating apps
1. Connect the mobile telephone using the
snap-in adapter or the USB audio interface.
