Map view
Vehicle equipment
This chapter describes all standard, national
and special equipment provided in the model
series. Equipment not available in the vehicle is
therefore also described, for example the se‐
lected special equipment or national version.
This also applies to safety-relevant functions
and systems. Comply with the relevant na‐
tional regulations when using the correspond‐
ing functions and systems.

Lines on the map
Roads and streets are displayed in various col‐
ours and lines in accordance with their classifi‐
cation. Dotted lines denote train and ferry con‐
nections. National borders are denoted by thin
lines.
Traffic obstructions
If traffic information of a radio station or a traf‐
fic warning service is received, traffic obstruc‐
tions may be shown on the map, see
page
27 .
Lines along the planned route denote route
stages with traffic obstructions, depending on
the map scale. The position of the lines on the
route show the direction of the obstruction.
Road signs classify the obstructions.
▷ Red road sign: the obstruction affects the
planned route or direction of travel.
▷ Grey road sign: the obstruction does not
affect the planned route or direction of
travel.
Planned route
After starting route guidance, the planned
route is shown on the map.
Status fields
Display/hide:
1. Press the Controller.
2. "Status information on"
▷ Upper status field: time, phone and enter‐
tainment details.
▷ Lower status field: symbol for active route
guidance, status of traffic information, ar‐
rival time and distance to destination.
Quick access to frequently required
functions
An overview of frequently required functions
can be displayed in map view.
Display/hide: press the Controller.
