Registering Bluetooth
headset
Principle
For a Bluetooth headset to be used, it must be
registered on snap-in adapter and connected
to it. A Bluetooth headset that has already
been registered is automatically connected to
snap-in adapter.
Note
If another Bluetooth headset is registered and
registration is successful, registration data of
the previous Bluetooth headset is deleted.
Only one Bluetooth headset at a time can be
registered and connected.
Operating requirements

Depending on Bluetooth headset, registra‐
tion on snap-in adapter is performed auto‐
matically. Bluetooth headset supports a
fixed passkey. The default setting is 0000,
which can be altered if required on web
server http://192.168.1.1 at Connectivity-
SIA2.0 page under BT headset.

Bluetooth headset is switched on, Blue‐
tooth headset must be set visible if neces‐
sary.

The snap-in adapter is inserted in the cen‐
tre armrest.
▷
The ignition is switched on.
▷
SIM card is inserted in snap-in adapter or
mobile telephone is connected to snap-in
adapter via SIM Access Profile.
Connecting Bluetooth headset
1.
Press the
button on the snap-in
adapter for approximately 9 seconds.
The LED above the button flashes blue.

Switch on Bluetooth headset and set visi‐
ble if necessary.

Depending on Bluetooth headset, give talk
button a long press to connect Bluetooth
headset to snap-in adapter. See operating
instructions for Bluetooth headset.
Bluetooth headset is registered and con‐
nected once LED on snap-in adapter is no
longer illuminated.
Accepting a call
Incoming calls are displayed on hands-free
system or snap-in adapter. They can also be
accepted using a Bluetooth headset that is al‐
ready connected.
To do this, press talk button on Bluetooth
headset once briefly.
Initiating a call
Using Bluetooth headset, it is possible to call
last number dialled using hands-free system or
handset.
To do this, press talk button on Bluetooth
headset twice briefly.
Transferring a call
General
Calls can only be conducted on one terminal
unit at a time:

Using hands-free system.
▷
Using handset in rear.
▷
Using Bluetooth headset.
An incoming call can be heard using terminal
unit that took the call, such as handset in rear.
A call can be transferred between terminal
units during a call.
