Enabling/disabling functions
Activate functions before registering, to be
able to assign these to a mobile telephone.
Information about suitable mobile telephones
that support these functions, see page
84 .
On the Control Display:
1. "Settings"
2. "Connections"
3. "Bluetooth"
4. Calling up"Options".
5. "Configure Bluetooth"
6. Select desired functions.

7. Tilt the Controller to the left.
Connecting
Connecting the mobile telephone
Only connect the mobile telephone when
the vehicle is stationary. Otherwise, you may
become distracted and endanger the vehicle
occupants and other road users.◀
Perform the connection in full at either the
front or rear Control Display.
On the Control Display:
1. "Settings"
2. "Connections"
3. "Bluetooth"
4. "Add new device"
The Bluetooth name of the vehicle is dis‐
played in the Control Display.
5. Perform other operations on the mobile
telephone, see the Owner's Handbook of
the mobile telephone: for example finding/
connecting Bluetooth device or new de‐
vice.
The Bluetooth name of the vehicle is
shown on the display of the mobile tele‐
phone.
6. Select the Bluetooth name of the vehicle
on the display of the mobile telephone.
7. Enter the same passkey on the mobile tel‐
ephone and through iDrive and confirm.
Or
Compare the control number on the Con‐
trol Display with the control number in the
mobile telephone display. Confirm the con‐
trol number in the mobile telephone and on
the Control Display.

8. Select the function for which you would
like to use the mobile telephone.
9. "OK"
The mobile telephone is connected and
shown in the first position on the list of mo‐
bile telephones.
Up to three mobile telephones can be connec‐
ted to the vehicle at the same time. Only one
function, see page
85 , can be allocated to each
mobile telephone.

White symbol: Function active.
Grey symbol: Function inactive.
