Saving an entry in Contacts
On the Control Display:
1. Mark entry.
2. Calling up "Options".
3. "Save as new contact" or "Add to contact"
4. If necessary, select contact.
5. Select the type of number: "Home",
"Work", "Mobile" or "Others".
6. If necessary, complete the entries.
7. "Save contact"
Deleting an entry or list
On the Control Display:
1. Select desired entry.
2. Calling up "Options".
3. "Delete entry" or "Delete list"
Incoming calls
General
Lists of the last 20 received and missed calls of
the mobile telephones assigned the function
telephone or telephone 2, are transferred to
the vehicle.
Dialling a number via iDrive
On the Control Display:
1. "Telephone"
2. "Received calls"
3. Select the desired entry and telephone
number as necessary.
The call is made through the mobile tele‐
phone from the list of which the entry
comes.
The call can be made using the other mobile
telephone:
1. Mark entry.
2. Calling up"Options".
3. "Call via"

Hands-free system
General
Calls taken via the hands-free system can be
continued via the mobile telephone and vice
versa.
From mobile telephone to the hands-
free system
Calls that were started outside the Bluetooth
range of the vehicle can be continued via the
hands-free system when the ignition is
switched on.
Depending on the mobile telephone, there is
an automatic switch to the hands-free mode.
If it is not automatically toggled, follow what is
displayed on the mobile phone screen, and
also see the user manual for the mobile phone.
From the hands-free system to the
mobile telephone
Calls taken via the hands-free system can also
be continued via the mobile telephone, de‐
pending on the mobile telephone.
