Installation and Operating Instructions

Pyramid 2 Keyboard

HDR CONTROLS

When a HDR is selected, a screen is displayed that contains the icons you would normally find on a HDR. Using these

controls, an operator can use the Pyramid 2 Keyboard to assume direct control of a HDR. This means that the operator will

then have control of the output shown on any monitors that are connected to the HDR.
The HDR controls are split over three screens:

HDR Main Screen

HDR Controls Screen

HDR Search Control Screen

HDR Main Screen

The

HDR Main

screen is displayed when a hard disk recorder is first selected. It can also be accessed from the

HDR

Controls

screen or

HDR Search Control

screen by pressing the

Main Screen

soft-key.

The screen consists of a six soft-keys that are used to operate the HDR, and two soft-keys that are used to access the

HDR

screen and the

HDR Search Control

screen. See the following table for information on these soft-keys:

Icon

Description

Instruct the HDR to begin recording.

Instructs the HDR to display live images in a multiscreen display. Also used as a stop
button when the HDR is in Record or Playback mode.

Instruct the HDR to enter Playback mode. The soft-keys in the

screen can

then be used (see the following page for details).

HDR Controls

Magnify (x2) the image on the HDR output monitor. Once the image has been magnified,
the joystick can be used to move around in side the image.

Toggle through the different multiscreen displays that are available.

Freeze all images on the HDR output monitor, whether the view is full-screen or
multiscreen.

Note

Whilst in the

HDR Control

screens, the

Camera

and

Monitor

keys can be used to select cameras and monitors

that are connected to the HDR itself. This does not affect the current camera/monitor selections that have made with the

Pyramid 2 Keyboard, and only affects what is recorded or played back on the HDR itself.
