Pyramid 2 Keyboard

OPERATING THE TOUR FUNCTIONS

Operating Patrols and Random Tours Globally

All suitable cameras can be triggered into patrols or random tours at the same time using the

Global

soft-key. This will not

work with domes or receivers that are attached to a bridge.
To start a global patrol or random tour, follow the steps below:
1. In the

PTZ Camera Control

screen, press the

Global

soft-key.

2. Press either the

Patrol

soft-key or the

Random Tour

soft-key, depending on which tour function is to be used.

Notes

Patrols and random tours are continuous operations. Care should be taken when using these functions to ensure that

the pan and tilt units being used are capable of maintaining continuous tour functions. The majority of standard pan and

tilt units use track potentiometers to measure preset positions and the potentiometers are often susceptible to wear.

Please be aware that the stop tour function may not be operable on domes attached to bridge products.
