Chapter 5 – Initial Setup, Basic Operation & Profile Examples
This chapter describes the setup & basic operations of the AAQ controller & typical Antenna configurations,
from unpacking to acquisition of the target. See Chapter 3 for additional Network configuration as well as
Chapter 6 for system configuration details.
5.1 Unpacking
When unpacking your system, you will find taped to the CIP, an envelope containing the Customer Flash Card.
This card contains generic and customer specific configuration documents needed to operate your AvL system.
Your flashcard contains the following:
Antenna manual
Specifications sheet
Interface control document
Outline drawing of antenna system
Overall Wiring Diagram
Controller User Manual
Controller Quick Start Guide
Controller Module Documents (Modem, Beacon Receiver, Wings, etc.)
AAQ Remote GUI Installation file
Configuration Files (Created by Service)
(Certificate of Compliance)
