Profile System window (see Figure 6.4). All valid Signal Sources are available for each step in all three
Acquisition attempts. As implied in the figure, up to three successive attempts will be made by the AAQ
to acquire the Target Satellite based on entries made in the Primary, Secondary and Tertiary sections.
This flexibility provides the Level 4 operator with the option of attempting the quickest, possibly least
reliable, method first knowing that the system will automatically progress to more robust acquisition
schemes.
