Setting in Sybase Central: Connection profile
You can create a connection profile for Sybase Central using Sybase Central Java Edition.
Advantage
The advantage of this connection profile is that you can start Sybase Central without user identification.
Creating a connection profile
To create a connection profile for the cc database and with the user sa, follow these steps.
1. Sybase Central Java Edition is open.
2. In the Tools menu select Connection Profile . The Connection Profiles dialog opens.
3. Click New . The Create New Profile dialog opens.
4. Enter a name, e.g. cc.
5. Click OK . The Connect to Adaprive Server Enterprise dialog opens.
6. Enter the user name sa and the password.
7. Click OK .
8. Select the connection profile cc.
9. Click Start enable .
10. Click Close .
