The reporting viewer or WebLM is not working
If you use the reporting viewer in the CIE system or if you use WebLM, you may not be able to reach the
respective Web server.
Possible reasons
Internet Explorer settings are used for accessing the Web server. If you use a proxy server, you must
configure an exception.
Troubleshooting
If you use a proxy server, you must configure an exception in Internet Explorer. Proceed as follows:
1. Start Internet Explorer.
2. In the
Tools
menu select
Internet Options
. The
Internet Options
dialog opens.
3. Click the
Connections
tab.
4. Under
LAN Settings
click
Settings
.
5. Under
Proxy server
click
Advanced
.
6. Under Exceptions enter
PC name:8443
. Use the host name of the computer running the reporting
viewer or WebLM as the server name.
7. Click
OK
.
8. Click
OK
.
9. Click
OK
.
