F4: CURRENT I/O STATUS
This page can be activated from either the “MAIN MENU” page, or the “STATUS OF
CURRENT TEST” page.
To activate it
from the
“MAIN
MENU” page,
press the F4
key on the
key board, or
using the
mouse, place
the cursor
over the
“Current I/O
Status” box
on the right
side of the
screen and
left-click
once.
To activate it from the “STATUS OF CURRENT TEST” page, use the mouse, place
the cursor over the “display I/O status” box
located at the bottom of
the “STATUS OF CURRENT TEST” page
and left-click once.
The purpose of this screen is to show the user a visual representation of all of the
important inputs and outputs, both digital and analog.
The top part of the screen with the red and green “switches” shows the status of the
digital outputs. A red switch means that the output is OFF. A green means that the
output is ON. This is useful information while the cabinet is running a test. During
the test, the user can see what is ON and OFF.
The lower section displays all of the inputs. The left lower section shows all analog
inputs, such as temperatures and pressures. The right lower section shows all of the
digital inputs, such as a float switches and proximity switches. A black box indicates
that the switch is closed or “made,” a gray box indicates that the switch is open.
