BCX Series Operating Manual Page 69
When a test has been paused and the exposure zone purged of its environment, the
cover can be opened for sample inspection. In the same way that the purge blower
was turned on and off, the cover can be opened or closed. Use the mouse to point to
the COVER
switch and
left-click on
it once.
It may take
a several (or
even up to
60) seconds
for the
cover to
open. This
is due to the
time it takes
for the air
cover lifters
to fill with
the
compressed
air and overcome the weight of the cover and pull of the dual magnetic seal. If the
cover will not open it is most likely do to low air pressure. Call the ATLAS factory
for assistance in this condition.
When the cover is open, a message is displayed in the “Fault” condition box located in
the upper right corner of the screen.
The test cannot be put back into a run mode until the cover is closed. To restart the
test, use the mouse and close the cover. When the cover is closed and the “All
Devices OK” message shows in the “Fault” condition box, the test can be restarted.
To restart the test, use the mouse and left-click once on the green “CONTINUE”
button.
If done properly, the test will continue where it left off.
