Datalogging can be activated or deactivated in the ADJUST MACHINE
PARAMETERS (F9) page. This will be covered later in the manual. If Datalogging
is enabled, then a file name must be specified prior to a test being started.
When a test name has been selected, and the start test button pressed, a “Choose file to
log temperature to” box will open in the center of the screen.
In the “File name” box, a default file name will be inserted by the computer. This
default name will be based on the date and time that is on the computer when this test
is started.
If this file name is satisfactory then use the mouse and left-click once (or press enter
on the keyboard) on the “save” button of this box.
If a custom file name is desired, type it in and then use the mouse and left-click once
on the “save” button of this box. If the name chosen already exists, the computer will
prompt the user to overwrite the file. Answer the question as desired and continue.
When this step is completed, the computer will start the desired test and proceed to the
F2 STATUS OF CURRENT TEST page.
