BCX Series Operating Manual
The screen below shows further examples of how to change what is displayed on the
screen. Using the mouse, position the pointer over one of the black boxes next to the
name of the items being graphed. With one click of the left mouse key, the graphing
line can be
turned on
and off for
display.
This will
not affect
what is
being
logged, only
what is
being
displayed.
Using the
mouse,
experiment
with the
graph
display keys to change the X and Y axes ranges. This will allow for close up
examination of the data being displayed.
The green recording shows the status of the datalogging feature. If it is green, and has
the word “Recording” in it, then data is being saved to the hard drive. If it is red and
has the word “Not Recording” in it, then data is not being saved to the hard drive. The
status of recording feature can be changed in the “ADJUST MACHINE
PARAMETERS” section of the controller.
User notes can also be typed into the “note pad record” box. After a note is typed in,
using the mouse press the button just to right of the box. Prior to pressing it, the
button will be green and have the words “Press to log Note” in it. When it is pressed,
it will be yellow and read “Note will be logged at next data log interval.” The box
will remain yellow until the next data point is saved to the hard drive, as set by the
user. When logged, the box will revert to its original green color.
The best way to become familiar with all of the features of this page is to experiment.
Nothing can be damaged with this experimentation. The user is encouraged to adjust
all of the available features until comfortable with how to use them.
