Transmission period – transmission period of control wireless signals by
a detector. The transmission period can be increased to extend a battery’s
service life, or decreased to raise a speed of detectors’ respond.
Communication control – a period, after which expiration, a signal about
a fault in communication with a detector, lacking control wireless sig-
nals, will be generated. This period can be set with a small value (up to
1.5 min.), if the requirements of a channel’s reliability control are high.
The period of communication control can be set at the maximum (up to
15 min), if a noise level is high at the facility.
►Properties of the detectors Aurora-R, Ikar-R, Afra-R
Sensitivity – adjustment of a detector’s sensitivity level. Sensitivity de-
fines the operation threshold of a detector.
►Properties of the detector RIG
Control of sealed contact/loop
– supervision of a sealed contact/loop
control. When the control is off, a sealed control or loop is considered to
be not disturbed.
Sealed contact normally-opened/normally-closed – if the chosen sealed
contact is normally-closed, a state when a magnet is touching a detector
is considered to be normal. A detector, with its sealed contact being
normally-opened, is in the normal mode, when there is no magnet.
Loop type
– selecting a
RIG
’s loop type. Depending on detectors con-
nected to RIG, a loop type can be security or fire.
Thresholds of a security loop:
Loop resistance
RIG state
More than 10 kOhm
broken
from 4 to 7 kOhm
norm
Less than 2.8 kOhm
broken
Thresholds of a fire loop:
Loop resistance
RIG state
More than 40 kOhm
fault
from 10 to 20 kOhm
fire
from 4 to 7 kOhm
norm
Less than 2.8 kOhm
fire
Less than 200 Ohm
fault
