"On" – backlight is enabled when any button is pushed,
"Off" – backlight is off, however it can be enabled when any button is
pushed and hold for a while.
Backlight illumination consumes a significant amount of current, so keeping
backlight off can safe the battery life, in the case PU-R is power supplied
from the battery.

Adjust the contrast level of the LCD screen (the buttons

Enable /disable sound signals of PU-R

The option of battery recharging should be enabled when the accumulator battery NiMH 8.4V, 170 mAh is at-
tached so that the level of its charge is displayed properly.
ATTENTION!
The mode of battery recharging should be enabled only for
the NiMH battery 8.4V, 170 mAh!
