Preparation for Installation

Before you start installing MAXCS, you need the following:

•

Windows Update

—Make sure your server has the recommended Windows Service

Pack or Update.

•

MAXCS ACM 6.7 CD ROM

—The MAXCS CD ROM that contains the MAXCS 6.7

programs.

•

MAXCS latest update

—Check to see if there is an update available to the MAXCS

6.7 Release.

•

System Key

—The system key can be either a USB hardware security device that

must be attached to the server MaxCS is running on, or it can be a soft system key.
