Inserting/changing the batteries of the laser

The laser beam shows you exactly where the saw blade

  44

 will cut next so that you 

can make very precise cuts. 
You will need two type AAA/LR03 1.5 V

 batteries

 to operate the laser

(included in the pack contents). Proceed as follows to insert or change them:

1. Set the laser switch

 to position

 (laser off).

2. Remove the saw blade guard

 from the splitting wedge

 by loosening the 

lens head screw

, gently pulling the saw blade guard apart and then carefully 

pulling it over the laser and off of the splitting wedge.

3. Open the battery compartment cover

folding it up and remove it.

4. Remove the old batteries from the battery com-

partment

 if necessary. Please observe the 

notes in the chapter “Disposal”.

5. Insert the new batteries. Make sure that the 

polarity is correct as specified in the battery 

compartment.

6. Put the battery compartment cover back into 

place.

7. Mount the saw blade guard as described in the 

chapter “Mounting the saw blade guard”.

Switching the table saw on and off

 

WARNING!

Risk of injury!

Improper assembly of the table saw can result in serious injury.

 

− Before start-up, assemble the table saw properly and completely.

 

− Before switching the table saw on, make sure the saw blade is correctly 

mounted and that mobile parts move freely.

 

− To switch the saw on, push the green power switch

The motor will start. Wait until the saw blade

 has reached the maximum 

speed before sawing.

 

− To switch the table saw off, push the red power switch

Caution: 

The saw blade will continue to rotate for some time. Only leave the table 

saw unattended once the saw blade has come to a stop.
