Mounting/adjusting the splitting wedge

 

WARNING!

Risk of injury!

Unintended activation of the table saw and improper handling of the saw blade 
could result in serious injury.

 

− Always pull the mains plug out of the socket before you make any 

adjustments to the table saw.

 

− Always wear protective gloves when handling the saw blade or working 

in its direct vicinity.

Check the splitting wedge

 every time after you change the saw blade and realign 

it if necessary.

1. Make sure that the saw blade

has been lowered all the way into the 

saw table

. If necessary, lower the 

saw blade by turning the crank

counterclockwise up to the stop point.

2. If necessary, remove the saw blade 

guard

 from the splitting wedge 

by loosening the lens head screw

gently pulling the saw blade guard 

apart and then carefully pulling it over 

the laser

 and off of the splitting 

wedge.

3. Loosen the two fixing screws and 

remove the table insert

 from the 

saw table. Always check the table 

insert in the process: Immediately 

replace the table insert if it is 

damaged or is no longer flush with 

the saw table.

4. Make sure that the angle of the saw blade is set to 0°. If necessary, set the angle as 

described in the chapter “Setting the cutting angle”.

5. Rotate the saw blade all the way out of the saw table by turning the crank 

clockwise up to the stop point.
