The fo cus of this example is to use user atness correction to obtain
at p o w er at the output of the HP/Agilent 83550 series mm-w a v e
source mo dules. In this case w e will use non-sequen tial correction
frequencies in a sw ept 26.5 to 40 GHz measuremen t with an
HP/Agilent 83554 source mo dule.
The time it takes for a large quan tity of p o w er meter measuremen ts
can b e long, therefore, w e selected non-sequen tial correction
frequencies to target sp ecic p oints or sections of the measuremen t
range that w e assume are more sensitive to p o w er v ariations.
This greatly exp edites setting up the user atness correction
table. The amoun t of in terp olated correction p oints b et w een
non-sequen tial correction frequencies v aries. This example uses the
HP/Agilent 437B to automatically en ter correction data in to the
array .
